This Woman Has A Shocking Snack Drawer Under Her Bed And TikTok Is Upset - Delish

One of the most mesmerizing corners of the internet is kitchen-restock videos. There's pristinely washed and packaged produce, a bounty of acrylic organizers (how high is their bill at The Container Store?), and a snack haul large enough to feed an entire army. Some users even go the extra mile and decorate their fridges with flowers and framed photos.

Apartment dwellers like myself can watch restock videos for hours. They're partly aspirational, but also just a little bit ridiculous. One particular video that went viral this week verges closer to the latter.

TikTok user @aleeaspam uploaded a video showing her process of restocking a snack drawer under her bed.

In the video, the drawer gets filled with an abundance of sweet and salty snacks. There are cookies, brownies, Rice Krispies treats, protein bars, five different types of chips, and plenty of candy—all individually wrapped and organized into different sections. This would make some sense in a kitchen pantry. But under a bed?! We were stunned.

The post garnered over 400,000 views in just one day. And it's safe to say the commenters had some THOUGHTS.

One user wrote, "Ugh no way eating in your room?! Gross." Another chimed in with: "do you have a trash can next to you, cause if not then there’s gonna be a lot of trash"

A common criticism in the comments was the possibility of a pest infestation. Someone wrote, "can't imagine the bugs/rats 💀". Since the snacks are all in sealed containers, the drawer is most likely safe. But eating snacks in bed and leaving crumbs in your sheets (yuck!) would surely attract some hungry bugs and mice.

However, there were still many users who thought the idea was genius. One user commented, "My toxic trait is all of that would be gone the next day"

Our take? If you're in a college dorm or live among snack thieves, we can see the potential here. But we're keeping our treats in the pantry.
