Workplace snacks: Food to boost productivity at work - IndiaTimes

To alleviate boredom or stress in the workplace, most people treat themselves to candies, chips, cookies, coffee, and colas. We feel these edibles get us through a busy work day. Giving into these cravings may bring temporary joy, but cause more damage in the long run. Healthy snacks, like fruits, nuts, and veggies, on the other hand, add to productivity. Mindful eating contributes to sustained energy levels at work. What we eat during the day impacts our ability to focus and achieve our targets. We all experience the ‘afternoon slump’ where late in the afternoon, our blood glucose levels drop, leaving us feeling sluggish and unmotivated. Choosing the right fuel not only fights chronic fatigue but also fulfills our daily nutrient requirements.
So next time you get the munchies at the workplace let us put down the packet of salt-laden chips and sugary candies and reach out to the options listed below:
Almonds
