Quick and easy snacks that you can make for Iftar - Times of India

This is a quick sandwich recipe that can be prepared within minutes. They are filled with shredded chicken, mayonnaise, onions and herbs. The only task which is time consuming here is to boil and shred the chicken which should take you at least 15-20 minutes. For preparing this snack you will require ½ cup boiled and shredded chicken, 4 bread slices, 3 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1 small chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste, ½ teaspoon of oregano and chilli flakes each and 2 tablespoon chopped parsley. In a bowl, mix together shredded chicken, mayonnaise, chopped onion, salt, pepper, oregano, chilli flakes and chopped parsley. Once the ingredients combine together, apply adequate amount of mixture on one bread slice and then cover it with another to form a sandwich. You can toast the sandwich either on tawa or in a sandwich maker.
