While a lot of our focus in September is on back to school foods and snacks, there is more to this month than just those treats. In fact, we are also a fan of finding healthy snacking options that will still deliver on taste while maybe eliminating a little guilt. (Even a guilty eat can be healthy!)
When it comes to finding snacks that will satisfy our hunger or cravings, there are actually a lot to choose from, even in the realm of healthy eating. Whether it is a more savory offering or a sweet treat, these five snacks are not only healthy, but they are also satisfying.

KRAVE Zero Sugar Jerky
We were already fans of KRAVE Jerky, but now that they have added a line of zero sugar jerky to the mix, we have a new passion for this product. Not only does the standard line offer us some delicious flavor options (Sweet Chipotle anyone?), but the Zero Sugar Jerky also comes in two delicious choices – Sonoma Style BBQ and Southwest Hatch Chile. The Sonoma Style BBQ was definitely a new favorite and it was perfect for snacking on in between meals.
ChocXO Dark Chocolate Coconut Almond Butter Cups
Looking for something sweet, healthy and satisfying? When it comes to delicious snacks, there is something about peanut butter cups and other “cups” in the family that has us coming back for more. And thanks to ChocXO we can enjoy our favorite guilty eat in a much healthier way. These dark chocolate cups are packed with flavor, while also containing “only 3g of net carbs and 3g of sugar per serving.” Think decadence without the guilt.
Chef’s Cut Mini Jerky Sticks
As someone who enjoys jerky but could never quite get into things like Slim Jims, I was skeptical about Chef’s Cut Mini Jerky Sticks. But I was wrong. These are little bites of deliciousness that are perfect for all your snacking needs. They can easily go with you wherever and whenever, and make a perfect snack for on the road. Nutella & GO! Multigrain
On September 15, Nutella launched a whole new option when it comes to their on-the-go snacks. Introducing the Nutella & GO! Multigrain. Just like the original Nutella & GO! varieties, this comes with a side of Nutella, but instead of mini breadsticks or pretzel sticks, this new option is all about the addition of “hearty multigrain sticks with oat and blueberries.” This snack takes our Nutella game to a whole new level and we are here for it! (And yes, we plan to stock up for our next road trip too.)
Ellenos Yogurt
This summer, I fell in love with a yogurt brand out of Seattle that knows how to deliver quality and flavor in perfect cups of deliciousness. When I think of healthy snacks, my mind always turns to yogurt, which is why Ellenos might just be my favorite find of the year. And in September, nothing says Fall snacking done right quite like Ellenos Yogurt’s Pumpkin Pie flavor. This is a limited time flavor that won’t be around for long, so get it while you can. However, if you love pumpkin, this Ellenos Yogurt is a must try, because it is just as decadent as a fresh baked pie, but in a creamier dessert form. But of course, even if pumpkin isn’t your thing, that’s okay too, because they have plenty of other drool worthy flavors to choose from as well.
Healthy snacks that are also delicious can be hard to come by or even hard to find. We hate dropping a lot of money on a product that we may end up hating, but with these five snacks, we think you’ll find something new to love that is also good for you.
