Snacks on 'Nari Samman Yojana' forms: BJP alleges Cong misusing womens info - Times of India

Bhopal: Rajya Sabha MP Kavita Patidar has made allegations that the forms filled out by women for the “Nari Samman Yojana,” a scheme promised by the Opposition Congress if they come to power in the state, are being used to serve snacks such as samosas at tea stalls and roadside eateries.
Patidar, who is also the general secretary of party state unit, expressed concerns regarding the confidential information contained in the forms, including the women's Aadhaar number, Samagra ID number, and mobile number. She claimed that the manner in which these forms are being used in hotels and tea stalls amounts to a serious cybercrime issue and poses risks to women's safety and placed the blame for this situation on the Congress state chief Kamal Nath.
She further said that when Kamal Nath is projecting himself as the next chief minister, he should know that whatever welfare programmes are implemented by the state government have a definite parameter and the responsibility to safeguard confidential information received from the beneficiaries lies with the government. “But, when all this information is being gathered through deception" and a false promise, who will be responsible to safeguard them. Congress and Kamal Nath should take responsibility that the information derived from women won't be leaked and misused,” she said. Patidar further recalled that prior to the 2018 election, the Congress had distributed pink, green, and yellow forms among farmers for the loan waiver scheme, and similar instances of these forms appearing in shops and eateries are happening now with the forms of the "Nari Samman Yojana."
