Three-year-old child's snack box snatched on an American Airways flight, sparks outrage among netizens - IndiaTimes

In a shocking incident, a Twitter user with the handle @dynamicallydara recently shared a series of tweets expressing her distressing encounter with American Airlines. She recounted how a flight attendant suddenly confiscated her nephew's snack box, unwrapped the food, and began consuming it without permission.
Accompanied by a photo of an array of unwrapped snacks, the user stated that she and her nephew had an assortment of open food items on the tray. Abruptly, a flight attendant came over, seized the box, and displayed it to a friend. The user added that the attendant was absent for several minutes, leaving her furious and prompting her to decide to contact the airline's corporate office. The image of the box she posted exhibited unwrapped jam sandwiches, cereals, pulses, crackers, peanut butter, and more.

According to the tweets, Dara was engrossed in a game on her iPad when the incident occurred. At first, she assumed the attendant was collecting trash, so she didn't pay much attention. However, when the attendant took away the box, Dara swiftly retrieved it and showed it to her friend, who had recently become a grandmother.
In her pursuit of the airline's attention to the matter, Dara promptly demanded action against the crew. She explained that she had to discard the food after the flight attendant returned it since it had been opened by someone else. Later, when a different crew member returned the box, Dara attempted to address the situation by acknowledging her curiosity to see the contents but expressing her dissatisfaction with someone taking their personal belongings without permission.
Dara further wrote in the tweet thread, "In response, the flight attendant mentioned that she had washed her hands. Dara reiterated that the hygiene aspect wasn't the main concern; she stressed that taking someone's belongings without permission was inappropriate. Nevertheless, the attendant continued to apologize and justify her actions. Dara perceived the sincerity of the apology as undermined."
However, it appears that American Airlines mishandled the situation by offering an apology that read, "What a charming snack box! We apologize for the crew member taking it without asking first." Dara sought substantial action against the employee, but instead, the airline issued an apology.
